Welcome to the Victory Sales Organization website. My husband Seth and I are the proud Business Leaders of the Victory Sales Company.

In February 1998, I was invited to my FIRST Tupperware Party by my dear friend, Michelle. Little did I know that that evening my life would change course forever! I was 27 and had never been to a Tupperware party, nor did I know what opportunities Tupperware offered. All I knew was that my mom had a LOT of Tupperware which she had earned throughout the 70’s during her years of hosting parties. The only 2 pieces of Tupperware that I owned was the green jello mold and the yellow colander (both taken from my mom!) I thought…”I could use some Tupperware” so I decided to go to the party; of course I went to have some fun and support my friend too!

Here are a couple of tidbits about the party. The manager arrived 20 minutes late….eeeek! The demo was quick and fun, but the most interesting part was when she started talking about her “Tupperware Job”. She was making $50/hr (legally… yes…she REALLY said this!), she was driving a free company car, she was home with her twins and she was earning trips! At that point, I began thinking that I could do this! Become a Tupperware Lady! First…I knew I could be on time…so win #1 for me!

Things you should know:
1. I only ordered 2 items (I think they totaled $25.) You see…I didn’t want to spend money…but I definitely wanted to MAKE money!
2. I recruited myself…I was the “gift” recruit…the accidental recruit.
3. The Manager at the party was in the process of leaving the business, so I had NO support at the beginning…BUT, my success wasn’t up to HER…it was up to ME! So I attended EVERY meeting and became a sponge; doing what OTHER successful people were doing! And it WORKED!
4. I was TERRIFIED of speaking in front of people…to the point of feeling like I would actually throw up!
5. I was NOT a risk taker! SUPER scary for me to do something like this! Yes…EVERY business venture is a risk, but the bigger the risk…the bigger the payoff! That’s what I kept telling myself!
6. My first parties were NOT all with my family; although my family is great, many were not interested in having a practice party with me. So I learned early on that this business is a “sorting” business not a “convincing” business.

Why did I join Tupperware? Become a Tupperware Lady? It wasn’t for the product I would earn; although I did enjoy the perks of LOTS of free tupperware for “doing my job”. I joined so that I could be financially independent as well as be the one raising my children, not someone at a daycare center. Tyler was 2 years old when my Tupperware career began. The first 6 months as a Tupperware Consultant were NOT easy…I was working 40 hours as an Operations Manager at a local bank and holding 2 parties a week. I knew that the payoff would be worth the investment and I knew I could do anything for 6 months!

In September 1998, I left the bank knowing that I would be making more monthly income by not having the daycare cost and vehicle expense. I earned my first Tupperware vehicle in December 1998. I remember that rally when I was handed the keys and I remember that drive home…it was definitely different driving a minivan vs a car! Over the past 20 years, I have driven over 12 company cars and I never get tired of that “new car smell”.

Always having a goal has been the KEY to my success…My first goal was to just “make it through” my first 6 parties! The next goal, promote to manager….then earn my car…then earn my first trip. My first goals were all about ME…I quickly realized that in Tupperware (and in life) when you give to others…you get! My future goals were about building a successful team….helping THEM be successful. I remember looking at a career level booklet at our Tupperware office during a Manager workshop I had attended early in 1999. The back page was the Distributorship opportunity; the opportunity to become a franchise owner and build an Organization. THAT is what I wanted!

So…for the next 3 years, I attended every meeting and training; sometimes 2 a week! I continued holding 2-3 weekly parties (that’s where the money was and still is!) I welcomed hundreds of consultants to my team; some personal recruits, more team recruits and I began coaching team members to become leaders of their own teams.

Was my Tupperware road always smooth sailing??? Absolutely NOT…I was grateful for that because life would be boring if it was smooth sailing and there would be no lessons learned along the way! There were speed bumps…parties with no sales…parties that cancelled…recruits that changed their minds…Tyler crying when I would leave for my parties…I found out later that his tears ceased as soon as I turned the corner in my neighborhood!

But just as there were valleys, there were also peaks! So many peaks, that they inevitably outweighed the valleys. Peaks like…being available to the needs of my boys and being able to adapt to those needs as they changed over the past 18 years! Peaks like making an Executive income on my terms. Countless free trips earned in the U.S and Internationally. Leading an Organization to #4 in growth in the world! Promoting countless managers, star managers AND directors! The highest peak has been changing people’s lives!

In 2002, after becoming a Diamond Manager (annual team sales of $240,000 and 4 leader promotions I was offered the opportunity to purchase a Tupperware Franchise and become a Distributor of Dynamic Sales in Augusta, ME. This was 2 hours north of where I resided but with passion and determination to make a difference in other’s lives I traveled 2-3 a week to train, inspire, motivate and build an amazing sales force. I was then offered to purchase the distributorship in Southern Maine; Victory Sales and it has been a wonderful 13 years building that Organization. In 2006, I was offered the opportunity to purchase and combine the NH Distributorship with the Southern Maine one. My Tupperware journey had now come full-circle, as I began as a consultant in the Portsmouth office in 1998!

Over the past 20 years, I have seen countless lives changed from the Tupperware opportunity and it really makes me feel proud to have played a part in that. For those who know me… I am not one to wear my heart on my sleeve…but I do truly care and love each and every person on our team…They are and always will be the heart of this business.

Things I have learned over the past 20 years.

1. I am responsible for my successes and shortcomings.
2. I get a LOT more NO’s than YES’s…but consistent asking IS the key!
3. What I choose to do or not do determines how long it will take to arrive at my goal.
4. I CAN speak in public without throwing up!
5. Creating confidence in others is one of the keys to their success.
6. People can WANT a lot of things…but the ones that are serious about making it happen, have a goal, a plan and actually put time and effort in.
7. Numbers don’t lie!
8. I can only inspire, train, love and coach my team…it is then up to them to be the sponge like I was and put action behind their words. Now I am able to detach from the outcome…because it’s their outcome…not mine.
9. The definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results! If it’s not working…change it up!
10. Tupperware is SO much more than bowls… It’s about the people you meet, the relationships you make and the lives you change.

Thinking back now… I look at my struggles; both personally and professionally and realize, they have made me the person I am today. I realize that Michelle’s Tupperware party was not just a party, but it was the moment my life took a 180 turn for an amazing journey that I never…ever imagined for myself. It was all part of a plan…a plan I didn’t even know existed. It is funny how things come full circle. My children have been raised by an available mom (like my mom was), they grew up in a house full of Tupperware (like I did). My two sons have had the most amazing opportunity to have their mom home with them, but better yet…they grew up in a Tupperware environment; one that teaches independence, gratitude, patience, love and leadership. How lucky am I to have been able to give this gift to them?

Life is always full of lessons…I love lessons…it means you are growing as an individual and when life throws you lemons…make lemonade! I have made A LOT of lemonade over the past 18 years…but it has been the BEST lemonade ever! I am looking forward to the next 20 years…and the next 20 years after that!

This is my story. So I ask you…what is your story? What will the next chapters be in your book? What I have…you too can have! It’s here for the taking! Grab it…believe in yourself and know that I believe in each of YOU!

To the Incredible Victory Organization...Thank you for choosing to be a part of our successful company! This will be a year of unbelievable growth! You are in the right place AT the right time!
